M 97 (NGC 3587; magnitude 9.9) is a planetary nebula in Ursa Major. The two dark circles give the nebula its name, as they make the nebula resemble the head of an owl (seen here on its side). The star to the lower right also has a bit of nebulosity coming off its right side. I think there is also a faint galaxy just below the two stars in the upper left corner. It appears on professional photos of the nebula as well.
