This is a table of contents for my notes on string theory. The posts are arranged in an order that might be found in a textbook.

This treatment of string theory follows for the most part the book *A First Course in String Theory*, Second edition, by Barton Zwiebach. Most books on string theory require a solid background in quantum field theory and general relativity, neither of which I have. Zwiebach's book is written for an undergraduate physics course that he gave at MIT, so the prerequisites are a lot easier on the brain.
